Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 3 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply when you use dayswemiss.com or purchase a personalised digital remembrance from Days We Miss.
Please read these terms before making a purchase.
1. About Days We Miss
Days We Miss is a digital remembrance service operated from the United Kingdom.
The service allows you to create a personalised digital remembrance certificate for someone special you wish to remember.
For questions about these terms or an order, contact:

2. What you are purchasing
For £3.99, you are purchasing a personalised digital remembrance certificate.
Your certificate is created using information you provide and may include:
- the name or nickname of the person you are remembering;
- an optional date they passed;
- an optional personal message; and
- a unique Days We Miss certificate number.
Each completed paid remembrance also adds one symbolic day to the overall Days We Miss total.
The £3.99 payment is a one-off payment. There is no subscription.
3. A symbolic remembrance
Days We Miss is a symbolic digital remembrance project.
Purchasing a remembrance does not purchase, own, reserve or register an actual calendar day.
A Days We Miss certificate is not an official memorial record, legal registration, ownership right or other official document.
The unique certificate number identifies the remembrance within the Days We Miss project.
4. Personalisation
You are responsible for checking the information you provide before completing your purchase.
Please make sure names, dates and personal messages are entered as you would like them to appear on the certificate.
If you make a genuine spelling or input mistake, contact us and we will do our best to help.
5. Personal messages and acceptable content
Your personal message should be appropriate for a remembrance certificate.
You must not knowingly submit content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, fraudulent, infringes another person's rights or is otherwise unlawful.
We reserve the right to refuse or remove content where reasonably necessary to comply with the law, protect another person's rights or prevent misuse of the service.
6. Payment
Payment is made securely through our third-party payment provider, Stripe.
The price displayed at checkout is the price payable for the remembrance.
Your payment must be successfully completed before your remembrance certificate is created.
Days We Miss does not store your complete debit or credit card details.
7. Digital delivery
Days We Miss is a digital-only product.
No physical certificate, memorial, tree or other item will be posted or delivered to you.
After successful payment, your personalised remembrance certificate is made available digitally.
We also send a transactional email to the email address provided during checkout containing a private link back to your certificate.
Please ensure that the email address you provide is correct and keep your certificate email if you wish to return to your certificate later.
8. Saving, printing and sharing
You may save or print your remembrance certificate for your own personal use.
You may also choose to share your own certificate with family, friends or through your own social-media accounts.
Your remembrance information is not automatically added to a publicly searchable memorial directory by Days We Miss.
If you choose to share your certificate publicly yourself, you are responsible for that decision.
9. Cancellation and immediate digital supply
Your remembrance certificate is created and supplied digitally following successful payment.
Where required by applicable consumer law, before immediate supply begins you will be asked to expressly agree to the digital content being supplied during the usual cancellation period and to acknowledge that, once supply begins, you will lose the applicable right to cancel.
This does not affect any statutory rights you may have if the digital product is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Refunds and problems with your certificate
Because your remembrance certificate is personalised and digitally supplied, cancellation and refund rights may differ from those applying to ordinary physical products.
If there is a technical problem with your certificate, it does not match the information you supplied, or you believe something has gone wrong with your order, please contact us.
Where applicable consumer law gives you a right to a repair, replacement, price reduction, refund or other remedy, these Terms do not remove those rights.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict your statutory consumer rights.
11. Multiple remembrances
You may purchase more than one remembrance.
Different people may also create separate remembrances for the same person.
Each successfully completed paid remembrance receives its own unique certificate number and adds one symbolic day to the Days We Miss total.
12. Pets
A remembrance may be created for a much-loved pet.
Days We Miss recognises that the loss of a pet can be deeply significant, and pet remembrances are welcome.
13. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Your remembrance information is private by default and is not automatically displayed in a publicly searchable directory.
Please see our Privacy Policy for further information about how personal information is collected, used and stored.
14. Availability of the service
We aim to keep Days We Miss available and functioning reliably.
However, websites, payment systems, email services and other technology can occasionally experience interruptions or technical problems.
If a technical issue prevents you from accessing a certificate you have purchased, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to restore access or otherwise resolve the issue.
15. Intellectual property
The Days We Miss name, website design, branding, certificate design and original website content belong to Days We Miss or are used with appropriate permission.
Purchasing a remembrance does not transfer ownership of the Days We Miss brand or certificate design.
You may save, print and share your own personalised certificate for personal, non-commercial purposes.
16. Charity status
Days We Miss is not a charity.
Your payment is payment for a personalised digital remembrance product and participation in the Days We Miss project.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the future, your purchase is not a charitable donation and does not fund a physical memorial, tree or charitable contribution.
17. Our responsibility
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
To the extent permitted by law, Days We Miss is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example if our service, technology or legal obligations change.
The version applying to your purchase will be the version in effect when you place your order.
The latest version will be published on this page with its last-updated date.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you where you live.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of mandatory rights provided by applicable law.
